The people live by farming, labourers in farms and quarrying sites. Telecommunications and electricity are available through PLDT and PENELCO. Water is available through private pumps and barangay water system. Most of the people living in the barangay speak Kapampangan, and Tagalog. Other dialects known are Bisaya, Ilocano and Pangasinense. Barangay Council is formed during local election. It belongs to the second Congressional District of Bataan. It is bounded on the north by Barangay Central, Balanga City, and Barangay Dangcol, Orion. On its west is Nagwaling and east is Panilao both of Pilar, Bataan. It is accessible via Roman Expressway and Bataan National Road. It is surrounded by farmlands and several rivers flowing towards the Manila Bay.
People lived by farming, fishing, and those that offers services such as laborers (skilled & unskilled), vending, electrician, quarrying. There are also those who own stores, restaurants and shops. OFW comprises of 3% of the total jobs known in Alauli.

Alauli Elementary School is one of the barangay Elementary Schools in the District of Pilar, located at Barangay Alauli, Pilar, Bataan. It has an area of two thousand four hundred fifty-two and ninety-eight (2,452.92) square meters. The school started as primary school in 1954 and became a complete elementary during SY 83-84.
